BESPOKE PEST MANAGEMENT PLANS
Pest management plans tailored to your property. Plans target a range of mammalian pests using trapping, rather than baiting methods. The plan will suggest trap placement for each species, and the type of lure recommended. Traps can be sourced on your behalf and you will be shown how to safely use each type of trap.
BEGINNERS TRAP TRAINING
The Beginners trapping workshop content has been adapted by Auckland Council and DOC, based originally on the NMIT 2-day course. It covers the basic of trapping including defining the problem, site preparation, baiting and pre-feeding, trap maintenance, animal welfare, practical trap demos and
monitoring. It also covers issues such as working around kauri dieback disease.
